    If you're going up and get this far you're just up to the hard stuff. Fantastic spot to camp for the night on the way down. Watch for copperhead snakes in camp area!

    Cozy size, a modest & flat area for camping, there's a toilet, a water tank, clean, modern mountain hut great for refuge or a sleepover.

    There's Telstra 3G mobile phone reception nearby. There are no bins at the hut. Please be prepared to carry rubbish out & don't put it in the toilet. Persons who use wood already stocked in the hut are expected to contribute to the supply unless not able for proper reasons such as extreme weather or being unwell, as damp wood can dry if left undercover.
